Information regarding online trading has proliferated as its popularity surged in the last two decades.
There are dozens of websites with useful and informative articles teaching the prospective trader anything from indicators to trading psychology and money management. There are hundreds of books with stellar reviews. There are trading courses in Skillshare and Udemy. And there are YouTube channels where you can learn from the mistakes and discoveries other traders have made.
Then there are all the trading platforms and charting services – some free and perfectly adequate, some costing hundreds of dollars a year.

“14 Most Popular Trading Books on Amazon.com” lists books based on their number of ratings. The title and author are provided, the number of ratings and average rating, the number of pages, and where available, comments from readers and some highlights.
“7 Most Popular Trading Websites” lists seven sites that provide useful explanations, definitions, and in some cases, free courses.
“13 Most Popular YouTube Channels for Traders” lists the most popular channels based on number of subscribers and total views. Also included are a description, and a rundown of playlists on the channel.
“10 Essential Reddit Trading Communities” lists subreddits that focus on stocks, Forex, investing, trading in general, as well as personal finance.
“23 Most Popular Trading Platforms” provides a brief description of the platform, when it was founded, their Alexa ranking (by now an outdated matrix but still a useful measure of a website’s traffic rank) and the number of Apple and Android app downloads and average ratings.
